This photograph of a Gorgorian Seafan was taken around midday at Calabariss Bommie off Kavieng, Papua New Guinea. A "bommie" is a term Australians call a seamount that rises within vicinity of the surface. Bommies are complimentary to seallife and usually contain an extensive reef system.
