The state of South Carolina has contributed numerous efforts to fortify coral reef systems in the state's waters. The above is one such contribution. This landing craft was sunk around 1999 along with other structures. The intention of the photograph's composition was to close focus on the landing craft with the spearfisherman in the background. The water was very silty at that dive.
